Kirkstall Abbey

Kirkstall Abbey has been top of my hit list of 'Places I Really Should've Visited After Living Here for Five Years, I Mean Really, It's Just Getting Silly Now' for a while now, and we finally made it at the end of February!

The above photos are a nod to another peeking Alice in another Yorkshire Cistercian abbey from four (!) years ago. (I don't really know what I was doing in terms of post-processing with that old one, though, it's a bit of a monstrosity. The greens?! I'm glad I've stopped doing... whatever that was.)

I've become a bit obsessed with the many iterations of the Kirkstall Abbey tunnel which supposedly (maybe) exists (possibly) but sadly did not make my debut as a pioneering archaeologist-slash-explorer. Perhaps next time.
